Ky is getting super big now! he just got his 4 month shots and was such a good boy. hes 17 lbs, 27 inches and his head is 17 inches! Dr said hes in the 90th percentile for his weight, 97 percentile for his height and 67 percentile for his head measurement! gonna be a big boy when he gets older! (might even out grow daddy!) we cant wait to have another baby, and get ky a play buddy! (me and jerylin have a "master plan" lol)
ky is starting to really enjoy baby food! he doesnt really dig the veggies, but eats them for momma anyway. he really likes pears and applesauce, and has started to really dig the custards and granola mixed too! cant wait to see him munching on cereal! (grandmas going to get him jumbo rice krispies and cheerios!)
hes discovered his feet and is trying to eat them all the time now! he has also discovered that his hands can grab things and get them to his mouth! so everything goes to the mouth! (he really seems to enjoy trying to see what everything tastes like!)
hes starting to play with the doggies too! he loves playing with juliet (who tries to lick the baby food off his chubby face) and starts to grab at her! shes soo good with him. she lets him grab her ears and lips and bite her nose, and only wants to lick his face some more! its funny cuz he bites her nose and screams at her, but she keeps licking him! its like a never ending game to them! SOOO CUTE! (i'll try to get a video of it for everyone!)
he is so big, and continues to amaze me at how much he learns every day. he responds to voices and his name. he loves to smile and is happy to see everyone (including his silly doggies). he loves to scream and be rowdy, and really likes to grab the spoon and make a huge mess when momma feeds him!
my baby boy is getting big! he'll be 5 months on the 30th! i cant believe how fast hes growing!
all of us are so excited for summer and swimming with friends! jerylin has a pool and already got tal swimming trunks! (so little and so cute on the chubby monkey!) i'm excited to get some more time to spend with friends and relax.
Tammy will be 21 in November! YAY for a legal little sister! Ky is going to be getting baptized soon (class in April) and jake and i will be starting marriage classes on the 24th. Jake will be 30 in August (EEK!) and Hilary and Mark are getting married next September! so if i plan out the $$$ correctly, we should be able to do something special for Jakes B-Day and go to Iowa in Sept for the wedding with tax refunds and summer balloon check money! (YAY FOR VACATIONS!)
We miss everyone and hope you are all doing well! i'll post pictures of ky soon and try to get you all a video of ky and juliet playing!

Playing at Grandpa and Grandma House!
Hi everyone! momma and dad have today off cuz its presidents day! YAY! we came to grandpa and grandmas to play with everyone, cuz we are so busy during the week. i love playing with everyone!
HI MOMMA!
he loves his walker! it has cookie monster and big bird to play with!
and it has lights and elmo sings to him when he spins the mirror!
he falls asleep like this in his boppy for auntie tammy during the day when momma is at work.
loves batman already! just like dad and uncle tim and grandpa!
(ut i'm always going to be mommys super hero!)
kyler discovered he has feet at about 3 months (january 30 2009) so he loves when i put cute socks or shoes on his feet! and he has also dicovered that he LOVES to chew on his fingers! i think he likes the way it feels, cuz he loves to chomp on mom and dad's fingers too. but he loves to chew on just about anything now too!
i have a video of him playing in his walker if i can figure out how to post the darn thing!

New Mission!
WE HAVE SOME BIG PLANS PEOPLE!
my new mission is to have bills that jake can manage with only the income from his job (by the way he got a BIG job offer to go back to the sprinkler union that bring soo much more $$$), and use our tax returns to finish off anything we need to for a future in our own house! RENT AND LANDLORDS ARE FOR THE BIRDS PEOPLE!
thank god for good planning! our tax returns will be good this year!
we're filing separately so jake can claim ky (poor men get taxed the worst!)
and i can still claim my tuition for my masters (not quite sure about that either...mmmm)
i'm working hard trying to get things set up for ky and any sibs we have for him in the future!
not so sure about remaining in AZ forever, so we have a long road ahead of us.
we're working hard!

Valentines Weekend
Wow. What a weekend.
its so nice to have my boys here.
and its great that Valentines was a Saturday, and Presidents Day is Monday!
Long 3 day Valentines day weekend.
Cant ask for much more. (except to make it longer)
i officially have 15 days to spring break! WHOOO!
Kyler is huge and get his 4 months shots during spring break.
i'm so excited to get so spend a whole week with my big boy!
He loves loves loves to talk up a storm! growls when he gets mad! and even loves to get kiss and hugs! hes amazing and sooo much more than i could've ever ask for. he loves to play in his walker and is fascinated by meeting lots of new people! he definetly lets me and jake know when hes not happy and when he wants us to hold him! hes got such huge personality at only 3 1/2 months old and everything he does excites and fascinates me. He loves madagascar and finding nemo and star wars already! (i think hes fascinated by the colors and sounds) he loves our dogs and kitties (though the kitties are still weary of him) and loves playing and napping with daddy, but wants to hang out with me to get lots of hugs and kisses! he sleeps through the night with me, and smiles when he hears m voice when i get him from auntie tammy and grandpas after work. his hair is growing in darker now, but hes still got his gorgeous baby blues! he definetly has my nose and eyes and chubby cheeks, but looks exactly like daddy! hes spoiled rotten by mommy, daddy, auntie tammy, uncle tim and grandpa and grandma. he loves to sit and hang out with auntie tammy, but really love to play with grandpa. i've never seen my dad so excited and overjoyed about anything else like he is about kyler. its amazing. HE EATS LIKE A HORSE! i swear the boy drains an 8 oz bottle every few hours and is still hungry!
and while i'm excited to have another (jake is determined to have a girl eventually!) i know my baby boy holds a special piece of my heart. jake and i are so blessed to have such an amazing healthy happy baby boy. i cant wait to have another baby, and continue enjoying having my family expand the love my heart holds! i swear i will find a way to enjoy my child(ren) presence continually! i'm on a mission to stay at home with them and watch them grow, and help them learn about the world around them!
